I stumbled across your podcast when I grew tired of listening to music while at work. I love your telling of stories we think we know and the comparison to real life. The research you do really shows. I finally listened to the Schindler’s List episode. It’s been many years since I’ve seen the movie due to the heavy subject matter. Your closing statements moved me to tears. Keep up the good work!

I love this podcast. It is a great, easy listen of changes made to movies we know and love.

This show is of astonishingly high quality, with an impressive amount of research behind each episode and excellent production and editing. The host, Dan LeFebvre, has a great voice, and he does a great job delivering the facts in an informative and interesting way. He does a great job handling historical events that can be highly controversial in an objective and respectful way. This show has quickly become one of my favorites.

I love this podcast because it combines my two favorite things: Movies and History. Even though I haven’t seen many of the movies featured on the podcast, I’m open to learning about new things! I don’t know if you could do this, but could you do the true stories behind some of Broadway’s hit musicals that are somewhat based in history? For example, Miss Saigon, Hamilton, Le miserables (that’s a movie too,)etc. Sorry this is a long one but this podcast is super underrated and I hope you keep creating more! (Also in the 300 episode the guy who the marathon was named after only ran roughly 25 miles, 26.2 is our modern marathon)

I'm so happy to have found this one. Lots of great research, presented professionally and with low-key humor. It's fun to find out more about movies I've seen, and just as fun to discover movies I missed.

I love learning about interesting topics, and this podcast is a great way to learn about some of your favorite movies.

This podcast is very well done! I find the research Dan does to be credible and accurate. This podcast makes me want to see some more classic and current films so I can learn something new as the information makes for great discussions. I can’t imagine how much time he spends researching but I appreciate it and am glad to have found such a great show!

Well-researched, very thorough, and written and produced to be as entertaining as it is informative

This is a very engaging podcast! Like a few others, I discovered one episode and quickly went back diving all through the catalog from the shows inception. As a podcaster myself I respect the amount of research it must take to make this engaging of a show, in such a short time. I can’t say enough about the quality of this production. This is up there with any heavily funded show, but it’s not. It’s just meticulously cared for by its strong independent host. Addicting and binge worthy, subscribe to it today.

Love hearing the real stories that inspire films

If you like movies and history look no further. This is such a well produced show and so very entertaining. It's interesting to see the true details of shows you've considered to be the gospel. Also, just as important as content for me, Dan's voice is very easy to listen to. Everyone I've told are now faithful followers. Just try one.

I just found this podcast this past weekend. I have spent the last 5 days listening to as many as possible. I find myself looking for chores to do around the house, just so I can throw in my earbuds and hear the next episode. I sit in my car and wait for the episode the finish before I go in. I have always loved movies that are based on true stories and LOVE hearing all the stories behind those movies. Great job! I was MORE THAN HAPPY to support this amazing podcast on Patreon! This podcast is great! It's obvious that Dan really does his homework. I think it's great that he has links to all his resources on his website (along with a transcript of the podcast!) in case you want to dig into the information yourself. The very first podcast I listened to, I learned tons of new information about a movie that I loved, and I didn't have to cull the Internet myself to find it. In fact, I didn't know there was anything to find, since this movie (A Few Good Men) isn't widely publicized as being based a true story. Great work, looking forward to listening to more!
